Our beginning
It started with Muni.
Our founder, David Potter, has been making wine since 2001. Municipal Winemakers began in 2007. Potek followed in 2012, named for our founder’s great-grandfather, who emigrated from Romania to America. Nowadays joined the lineup as our third label.
Today, you can find all three here. Start with a familiar bottle, or try another side of what we make.
Our approach
Back to the same vineyards.
We’ve worked with Kick On Ranch since 2009. For Potek’s Sanford & Benedict Pinot Noir, the fruit comes from the vineyard’s original 1971 own-rooted plantings.
Those relationships carry through the wines, from one harvest to the next. Each label gives us a different way to work with the fruit.
