Shipping policy

Free Shipping

We offer free standard shipping on standard wine orders of $99 or more to eligible addresses in the continental United States. Standard shipping is $20 on orders below $99. Club shipments and products with their own shipping arrangements may differ; review the options at checkout.

Where We Ship

We ship wine to most US states. We currently cannot ship to Alabama, Delaware, Hawaii, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Utah. Delivery availability is confirmed at checkout after you enter your shipping address.

Direct Shipping

Orders to our direct-shipping states usually leave our Santa Barbara warehouse within 1–3 business days. Standard carrier transit generally takes another 3–7 business days.

Partner-Fulfilled States

Orders to Iowa, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Vermont must be processed by our licensed fulfillment partner. Please allow 2–4 weeks before tracking is issued. Carrier transit begins after the partner receives and processes the order.

Adult Signature Required

An adult age 21 or older must be present to sign for every wine delivery. If no eligible adult is available, the carrier may attempt redelivery or hold the package for pickup.

Pickup in Store

Choose pickup at checkout to collect your order from Potek Winery Tasting Room in Santa Barbara or Muni VTA Tasting Room in Ventura. Availability depends on the items and location and is confirmed at checkout. Wait for your ready-for-pickup email before coming in.

Order Tracking

We’ll email your tracking number when the shipment is handed to the carrier. Tracking for partner-fulfilled orders will arrive after the additional processing period described above.

Damaged or Lost Packages

For damaged wine, email hello@municipalwinemakers.com promptly and within 30 days of delivery, with your order number and photos of the box and bottle. Eligible damaged wines receive store credit under our Return & Credit Policy. If a package appears lost in transit, email us within 7 days of the expected delivery date so we can investigate.
