Shipping & Delivery

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. Standard wine orders of $99 or more qualify for free standard shipping to eligible addresses. Standard shipping is $20 below $99. Club shipments and products with their own shipping arrangements may differ; review the options at checkout.

Where do you ship?

We ship wine to over 40 states across the US. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to all states due to local alcohol laws. Enter your address at checkout to confirm delivery is available in your area.

How long does shipping take?

Orders to our direct-shipping states usually leave the warehouse within 1–3 business days, followed by 3–7 business days in transit. Orders to Iowa, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Vermont are partner-fulfilled: allow 2–4 weeks before tracking is issued, plus carrier transit time. Do I need to sign for my order?

Yes — an adult signature (21+) is required for all wine deliveries. Make sure someone 21 or older will be available to receive the package.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes. Choose pickup at checkout. Pickup is available in Santa Barbara and Ventura; availability is confirmed during checkout.

Wine Club & Subscriptions

What is the Glug Club?

The Glug Club is our monthly wine subscription. Members receive 3 bottles/month for $89, save 20% on every bottle sitewide, and get free shipping on club shipments. Email hello@municipalwinemakers.com to arrange a pause, cancellation or membership change.

How do I pause, cancel or switch my membership?

Is shipping included with every club?

Shipping varies by membership. Glug, Potek Three Bottle, and Nowadays Circle include shipping on their club selections to eligible addresses. Muni Small Quarterly is $17 per shipment, waived on orders over $100. Review your membership details before joining.

Orders & Returns

What is your return policy?

We offer store credit for eligible damaged or faulty wines, plus one bottle per order if you do not enjoy it. We do not accept physical wine returns. Email hello@municipalwinemakers.com within 30 days of delivery. Club allocations and non-wine items have separate terms; see our Return & Credit Policy for eligibility and details.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Photograph the damaged box and bottle, then email hello@municipalwinemakers.com with your order number as soon as possible and within 30 days of delivery. Eligible damaged wines receive store credit under our Return & Credit Policy.

The Wines

What styles of wine do you make?

We make wines under three labels: Muni (everyday, fresh-style wines), Nowadays (natural-leaning, lower-ABV wines), and Potek (single-vineyard, focused wines from Santa Barbara). All are sustainably farmed.

Are your wines natural or organic?

Our wines are made from sustainably farmed grapes. Many of our Nowadays wines are made with minimal intervention. Contact us for specific farming or cellar details on any wine.

What is the ABV on your wines?

ABV varies by wine and vintage. Check the product details or bottle label for the specific wine, or email hello@municipalwinemakers.com if you need help finding it.
