About This Wine
Lemon, quince, and sea salt. Crisp but textured.
Blanche is Chenin Blanc from two distinct sites — our own plot at Tierra Alta in Ballard Canyon, and the old vines at Jurassic Vineyard in Foxen Canyon. Two corners of Santa Barbara County, one bottle.
Bright, mineral, and creamy textural at the same time. Stone fruit, honeysuckle, and white peach on the nose. A chalky mineral finish on the palate that holds up to anything you put in front of it.
We haven't had Blanche on the list in a while. The 2025 vintage came out exactly the way we wanted — energetic and lifted, with the depth and structure that old vines give you. Built to drink now and through the next year or two.
Pairs with: shellfish, soft cheese, summer salads, weeknight pasta, anything off the grill that isn't red meat.
Vineyards: Tierra Alta (Ballard Canyon) + Jurassic Vineyard (Foxen Canyon, old-vine block)
Region: Santa Barbara County
ABV: 12%
