Rita's Crown is a vineyard that is located at the highest elevation in the Santa Rita Hills, hence the "Crown of Santa Rita". It sits above Seasmoke and Mt. Carmel vineyard on the south-facing side of Santa Rosa Road. 

This wine is at its prime. Inky red and purplish fruit, this Rita's Crown wine is explosive in flavor and overall energy.

Really delicious!

We were a bit intimidated by a “dessert wine” at first, afraid that it would be heavy or syrupy. The End was a happy disprover of all our fears. It smells just like a walnut or fruitcake, has a light mouthfeel, and yet just a little goes a long way! We brought it to a family Christmas party and it was finished well before “the end” of the night!
