The new vintage, three deep. This is the good stuff.
If you want to know what Dave's been up to in the cellar, this is the pack. Three single-vineyard bottles from the current and recent releases — the kind of wine that makes you pay attention to what you're drinking instead of just drinking it.
What's inside:
2024 La Rinconda Chardonnay (~$50, exclusive to this pack) — Not your grocery store Chard. This is lean, mineral, the kind of white wine that makes you rethink white wine. Pair it with roast chicken and a green sauce situation, or just drink it cold on the patio while you figure out dinner.
2021 Demetria Grenache ($52) — Light on its feet for a red, but serious underneath. This is the bottle for the night you're making something a little ambitious — handmade pasta, a whole roasted fish, whatever your "I have time today" dinner is.
2021 Bien Nacido Syrah ($55) — The big, dark, peppery one. This wants steak, or a lamb braise, or honestly just a really cold night and a fireplace. Give it twenty minutes to open up. It'll reward you.
Three bottles, $157 retail, yours for $140. This is the Potek starter kit — if you've only had Muni, this is where it gets interesting.
