Potek
Single-vineyard wines rooted in traditional technique, reverence for site, and a constant search for balance.
The Story
A name carried across an ocean.
In 1917, Dave's great-grandfather Berl arrived at Ellis Island from Eastern Europe. The immigration officer couldn't spell his surname — so he shortened it. The family became Potter.
A century later, Dave reclaimed the original name for his premium label. Potek wines are the ones that take longer, cost more, and come from the vineyards Dave has spent two decades building relationships with.
Every bottle is single-vineyard. Every vintage is hand-sorted, whole-cluster where it makes sense, and aged until it's ready — not until the accountant says so.
