This is a fun wine. Very drinkable and festive. Think Labrousco, but with a California twist. The only thing is, be careful opening this one as it can go volcano on you.

This bottle was delightful! If you're looking for something with a bit of effervescence that isn't sweet, Sparkling Shirazz is yer gurl. Not much fruit on this (that I noticed), just dryness and tannins to cut through all the rich holiday foods you're ingesting.
We really enjoyed this with our Christmas dinner.
For me, Fizz has always been one of my favorites. Over the years it has gone through some changes. A few years back the change was not good and the originality and flavor I always loved was gone. Now this batch brings it back....almost. I enjoyed this batch very much, however it was much dryer from when it first came out many years ago. I miss the sweetness of the Fizz. Not that this batch was bad, just different.
