Muni Wine Los Alamos
We opened up our Mini Muni on Labor Day Weekend in 2014. Can’t believe we’re coming up on 5 years there! Our trusty captain Vanessa has been holding it down since just about the beginning hosting all the good times, making plenty of delicious popcorn, and setting up the Muvie nights.
If you haven’t been, please allow us to tell you about some of the Awesome stuff we do.
We have picnic blankets you can borrow to throw out on the lawn, under a shady tree on a warm day. We’ve got lawn games to borrow. There’s an ice machine for chilled wine maintenance. You can grab a sandwich from one of our neighbors and relax with a picnic. There’s a fire pit with string lights and music playing for communal vibes on a chilly evening. We make popcorn. We have s’more tools. Like we said earlier, if you’re an Alamo Motel guest, there are bikes to borrow.
And we have events! Say Hi is a quarterly event that we host along with our Shelter Social Club friends with live music acts and DJs. We have Muvie nights over the summer and play lots of fun movies. We have charcuterie classes, and yoga, and who knows what we’re going to come up with next!?
We also do weddings... just sayin. ;)

"Fermentation with indigenous yeasts, a preference for mostly neutral oak and generally minimal handling in the cellar are the signatures of these superb wines that speak to the distinct personalities of the sites from which they emerge."
Stop in Potek Winery at The Mill in Santa Barbara for a wine tasting experience like no other. Brought to you by Dave Potter, the winemaker being Municipal Winemakers, this dark and sexy tasting room is full or beautiful wood, soft leather and super sweet tiled walls. You can taste your way through available wines or order a glass and enjoy it on the lovely patio. Keep an eye out for pop-up dinners and other special events at this active community wine space.
Potek Winery Grenache + Syrah from Tierra Alta Vineyard == Delicious. Enough said.
