2019 Syrah

Syrah has been recognized as producing fine wine in the Rhône since Roman times, and we’ve been producing Syrah with deep, dark, dense, and intense qualities since our first vintage in 2007.

For this version, our grapes were sourced from a handful of top vineyards around Santa Barbara county. This wine was made by hand-picking the fruit and fermenting it with about 25% whole clusters. The fermentations were on skins for about 3 weeks and the wine was matured in old French oak barrels. We bottled 8 delicious barrels in June of 2021.
